Project Life-päivitys/update

 Kohta on 2 vuotta kansioitu Project Lifen avulla. Koska kansio sisältää lähinnä Pojun kuvia, päätin tehdä loppuun sivut myös meistä vanhemmista.. tässä minun sivuni.

I've scrapped almost 2 years now with Project Life. As it's full of pics of our son, I decided to make a page of each of us parents too. Here's my page.









Tein tähän steampunk-perhoskorttiin taas tuon linssijutun, kun olen siihen niin mieltynyt.

I made the lens thing again for this steampunk-butterfly card, as I really like the effect.

Tammikuu - January

Pohjana 7Dots Studion Dreamer-kokoelman City Lights -paperi, kuva tulostettu kollaasiksi PowerPointin avulla, härpäkkeet myös Dreameria, leimasimet monesta setistä. Halusin tehdä kuukausikatsauksen kuvista, ja pienen jekutuksen jälkeen joka ruutuun riitti materiaalia. Mietin pitkään toimisiko taustan paperin monimutkaisuus kuvan monimutkaisuuden kanssa, mutta kelpaa mulle.

The bg is City Lights from  7Dots Studio's Dreamer collection, the photo(s) I made in PowerPoint, the stickers&other bits are mostly Dreamer also, and the stamps are various. I wanted to try a month picture review, and after some fiddling there was material to fill all the squares. I pondered the coherence of the complex picture - complex bg a while, but I think it worked out allright.

Upward&Onward..

The gorgeous stamps used in my little thingamajig are from Michelle Ward's new collection.. Entering this into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge "Anything goes" :-)

Taivaalla - Up in the Sky

Michelle Wardin UpWard&OnWard -leimasinlevyt tulivat eilen postiluukusta! Aivan loistavia, juuri minunnäköisiä juttuja, paljonpaljon! Tietysti piti heti kokeilla!


The UpWard&OnWard rubber stamp plates from Michelle Ward arrived yesterday! Absolutely fabulous, these are just my type! (and there are so many of them on those plates) Of course I had to test them as soon as possible!

Mustia lintuja III - Black Birds III

Tämä alkoi kehotteestä "tee eläinaiheinen kortti".. Musteita, 4 leimasinta, suihkepullosta vettä, vähän valkoista ja mustaa kynää.


This was inspired by a challenge worded as "animal themed card".. Inks, 4 rubber stamps, water mist, white and black pen.

Kruunupäitä - Kings&Queens

Tein art journaliin sivun tämänpäiväisen -20C pakkasen siivittämänä (&varikset kokoontuvat ryppäiksi ja ovat ihan pörheitä), ja hetken päästä huomasin että kappas, tämähän soveltuisi Simon Says Stamp and Show  -haasteeseen "Kings and Queens"..

Today's page from my art journal, inspired by the -20C temperature outside and the way crows are all puffed up to withstand the cold.. suddenly I realised this would fit the Simon Says Stamp and Show theme of "Kings and Queens".. so I'm entering it!

Yesterday it was -20¤C, so  I took some commemorative pics (hoping it won't get any colder this winter)..

Unimaisema - Dreamscape

Akvarellipaperia, liimaa, distressmusteita suihkepulloista ja mustetyynyiltä, kolme leimasinta..  Tämä kuva on omistettu äidilleni, jolla oli vuosipäivä taannoin!

Ohjeita itselle - My Rulez

Olen ihan ihastunut mini mistereillä suihkimiseen.. Distress inkiä täyttöpullosta ja vettä päälle, eri värejä helppo sekoittaa keskenään mutta tuloksesta ei tiedä ennen kuin suihkasee paperille..

I'm in love with the Mini Mister bottles.. Filled with Distress ink from a reinker bottle, then topped with water. Different colors are easy to mix, but one won't know the result until one spritzes the color onto paper.. The text is My Rulez for the ongoing year: Breathe - Stay calm - Do not make assumptions - Learn to ask questions - Ask for what you want - speak openly and honestly - Love and honour yourself - Don't care about the opinions of others - Strive to find the truth - Do not blame or judge - Don't take things personally - Stay in the present moment.

Kesää&pitsiä - Summer lace..

Kesätunnelmaa vuosien takaa, näin 12 asteen pakkasessa. Tein taustan eilen, leikkelemällä arkistointikortteja Timpan stanssilla, sitten liimaa ja itse sekoiteltua värisuihketta (mustard seed+stormy sky), sen päälle musteita tyynyistä ja vielä Memories Mist'iä. Tänään leikkelin tuon valokuvan ja teipillä kiinni, sitten vähän Paper Artsyn leimasinta ja pieni tekstipätkä kynällä.

It's -12 degrees celsius today in Helsinki.. I missed summer.. I made the background yesterday.. cut up some archival cards with a Tim Holtz die, then glued a lot and colored with a mixture of mustard seed + stormy sky +water, swiped that with several colours of distress pads and then misted with Memories Iridescent Mist. Today I cut the photo and taped it down, used a stamp from Paper Artsy and wrote the journaling. The text says:"I've loved climbing trees since I was a child."

This scrapbook page I will enter into Simon Says Stamp and Show.. anything but a card challenge!
